Energy Medicine
is the application of various techniques enabling the "life force" in and around the body to shift into balance. Donna Eden is our mentor and Co-Founder of InnerSource. Donna explains: “Energy Medicine utilizes techniques from time-honored traditions such as acupuncture, yoga, kinesiology, and qi gong.” By interpreting where the energy is frozen, blocked, submerged or imbedded, we teach protocols to shift, unblock and balance your E-body such as tapping, holding or squeezing. These may help you relax, rebalance and revitalize.
Why use it? Firstly, you don’t ingest anything. Secondly, it’s easy to do. Thirdly, you can learn this on your own. Why do it? When you car is low on gas, you tank up. When your body’s “battery” runs low, you can do Energy Medicine. I teach and practice Energy Medicine every day. Used daily, it is preventive care from pain, illness, and stress.
WHAT SCIENTISTS SAY
Einstein's E = mc^2 tells us all matter contains energy.
The law of thermodynamics tells us “Energy can not be created nor destroyed.”
Most of us remember 6th Grade science when we learned Newton’s Third law of motion: Every action has an opposite and equal reaction.
Now: let’s jump to the new science of Quantum Physics. What does that have to do with Energy Medicine? Keep reading.
The secret behind Nikola Tesla’s mathematical numbers 3, 6 and 9 explained as a “higher dimensional energy” by Gary Lite.
Nikola Tesla said, “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” [excerpt from LearningMind.com]
EAST MEETS WEST
Gary Zukav, introduced Quantum physics in laymen’s terms by his first book, The Dancing Wu Li Masters. Zukav’s theory is the “Human experience is exploding beyond the five senses. As we become aware of our new abilities and values, like a baby opening its eyes and stretching its arms and legs for the first time, we are also becoming aware of an entirely new potential that we have never had before.”
His latest book, Seat of the Soul, Oprah said, “transformed her talk show, shifting her consciousness.” She reiterates, “The chapter on Intention, changed my trajectory, my heart, my energy and gave us the language to explain multi-sensory perception.”
WATER, CONSCIOUSNESS AND INTENT
Dr. Masaru Emoto from Japan states: "The human body is 70% water. We can affect those water molecules with our thoughts.” Through a rigorous study of speaking specific words to glasses of various sources of city water, mountain streams, he has proven the intention of our words affect the physical properties of water molecules.
ON THE MIND AND THE BRAIN: THE MARRIAGE OF NEUROSCIENCE AND EDUCATION
Barbara Arrowsmith-Young tells her story on neuroplasticity. “Scientists tells us the brain shapes us but she advocates…The human brain is capable of change…[and qualifies it] with exercises.” Arrowsmith-Young tells us, “A child doesn’t need to live with limitations…You can challenge current paradigms and shape your brain…Cognitive exercises can strengthen the brain.”
CHANGE YOUR BIOLOGY: CHANGE YOUR SOUL
Carolyn Myss, a Medical Intuitive and modern day Mystic, author and profound speaker, tells us “Choices that can change your life.” These small choices can change your biology, they can change your soul.
HOW TO CHANGE YOUR FREQUENCY TO CHANGE YOUR REALITY:
MindValley.com: an international, dynamic group who seek personal growth and want to change the world has one of their members, Christie Marie Sheldon, speak about “seeing energy fields.”
STRESS DEFINED
The definition for stress is an internal friction on an object. Hans Selye, who was an endocrinologist, came up with the term stress. Dr. Thomas Lodi, an Integrative Oncologist simplifies the definition.“Stress is really just a perception. For example, if an everyday person got dropped off at the foot of Mt. Everest and told they had to climb it, that person would be stressed. Yet, an experienced rock climber is put in the same position and they would be excited. These two people faced the same event, the same physical requirement and one is stressed, and one is not. Again, stress is a perception.” [excerpt from Dr. Lodi’s Blog, June 1, 2018]
A HUG CAN INCREASE OXYTOCIN
Ted talk by Kelly McGonigal, Health Psychologist, talks about preparing your body to respond to stress in a positive way. Using oxytocin—the “cuddle” hormone, you can change your physical response to stress. Studies have shown when you hug someone, this oxytocin hormone is secreted by the pItuitary gland. McGonigal claims when you are stressed, deliberately connect with others, get or give hug, because that physical connection you make helps the body respond in a positive way. She concludes, “How you THINK about stress matters.”
Dr. Oz speaks about Reiki
“I know firsthand the amazing miracles we can achieve with modern Western medicine,” Oz said, “but I also know that for centuries, people around the world have developed alternative therapies to treat the body, mind, and the soul.”
Reiki energy healing, in particular, makes Oz’s list of effective medical alternatives that boost overall health and wellbeing. Why? Put simply, its ability to re-balance bodily and cognitive systems serves as not only an instant potential pain reliever but also a long-term preventive therapy.
“There are some places we can’t even escape noise,” said Fred Rogers.
FRED ROGERS SAID, “Some of us have forgotten how nourishing silence can be.
That kind of solitude goes by many names. It may be called “meditation” or “deep relaxation,” “quiet time” or “downtime.” There is noise everywhere. Television and radio are probably the worst culprits. They are very seductive. It’s so tempting for some people to turn on the television set or the radio when they first walk into a room or get in the car… to fill any space with noise.” - excerpt from his book, Life's Journeys According to Mister Rogers: Things to Remember Along the Way
“I realize that it isn’t very fashionable to talk about some things being holy; nevertheless, if we ever want to rid ourselves of personal and corporate emptiness, brokenness, loneliness, and fear, we have to allow ourselves room for that which we can not see, hear, touch , or control. ”
SOUND HEALING
“The sound of music heals,” said Kathryn Drury Wagner. Brainwave patterns affect our emotions. “Deva Premal and Miten are leaders in bringing chant to the modern world. They are major contributors to many soundtracks in alternative healing modality. This includes those used in rehab/detox/stress management clinics, yoga studios, spas and meditation centres, shamanic gatherings, and ceremonies throughout the world.” [excerpt from Uplift on March 9, 2017]
ON MEDITATION
Ancient techniques such as the breath or a mantra, prayer, chanting, service of others and other tools as used by the Australian Spiritual Master Sri Avinash.
