These videos provide simple routines to move blockages in your body. These are offered to assist and support you, offering quick guidelines to address common issues such as headaches, anxiety or feeling overwhelmed. These are not substitutes for long term care. All are sourced from Eden Energy Medicine.
Daily Energy Routine (3 min)
The Daily Routine created by Eden Energy Medicine.
This is the standard routine. Watch it to understand “how to” tap, where to activate specific acupressure points and help the body re-set to balance all the energy systems. It’s like brushing your teeth: do it daily to release extra “static” in the body, to help ground yourself, and calm your mind.
Weather permitting, enhance your grounding by standing barefoot as you do the Daily Routine!
Headaches/Migraines/Tension
CROWN PULL: for headaches
As you feel the pain of a headache do this. As your body realizes you are trying to open the “crown” and release the tense/tight energy, it will respond. Repeat this daily. Easy to do in the shower.

Li-4: releases headaches and/or constipation
Li-4: for headaches and/or constipation
Hold this web acupressure point (Li-4) for 1-2 minutes on each hand to allow energy to “let go.” Li-4 stands for the Large Intestine meridian channel which is about elimination/constipation.
NEUROVASCULAR HOLD: for trauma or tension relief
Start seated or laying down because this hold is for 5 minutes. If you have tense or anxious thoughts, this may provide immediate relief especially if you do it for several weeks. This hold brings oxygen to the forebrain to activate the parasympathetic nervous system which calms the mind.
SHOCK POINTS at the heels: for trauma release
When you have had trauma, it stays in your cells. One way to release it is through our heels. Have a friend help you. They will press very firmly against one heel. When they find a point that is uncomfortable, have them hold their pressure until the discomfort is released. Find 2-3 other points along the heel. Then go to the other foot. Repeat this in a few days. The one trauma may start to dissipate after a few weeks. (Repeat this for each trauma you may have experienced.)

Anxiety, Panic Attacks or Feeling Overwhelmed
SMOOTHIE: for panic attacks or feeling overwhelmed
If done slowly, this protocol sedates our Fight-Flight-Freeze response. It will calm our mind. It will help focus and help the body reduce cortisol levels in your adrenal glands—always a plus.
Do it as often as needed.

THE HUG: when you have anxiety or if you are verbally attacked
This is a very subtle technique you can use at work. It sedates our Fight-Flight-Freeze response and activates the parasympathetic nervous system at the same time.
You are holding Spleen meridian accupressure points along the ribs and at your elbow. Hold this “Hug” as long as you need it (then reverse the arms).
THE HUG: to reduce anxiety
VAGUS NERVE: when overwhelmed or if you have high blood pressure
The Vagus Nerve can be easily accessed with this simple protocol. This will activate the parasympathetic nervous system which calms the mind and may also assist in lowering blood pressure.

Anger is a natural emotion but inappropriate at the workplace. Use this protocol when you need release.
Best if done outdoors.

When you hear bad news, we sometimes do this naturally (or hold our throat or heart). Keep your hands on your forehead for at least 1 minute. This hold brings oxygen to the forebrain to activate the parasympathetic nervous system which calms the mind.

Release Pain

This is an acupressure point along the outside edge of the shin bone, just below the knee. If you rub it, or hold it very firmly (like pushing an elevator button) for about 1-2 minutes, it will release acute pain. If you massage it and keep pressing down that shin bone toward the middle of the leg, you may be able to release more pain (over time). Do this daily for several weeks.

FIRE: A lively personality, and enjoys being around people but do you get distracted easily?
At times we think we can do it all, every project. We say ‘yes’ to everyone and then we burn out. This protocol shows you an easy way to get back in balance and get yourself grounded. Do this daily until you feel yourself again.

EARTH: One with lots of compassion for others and possibly none for themselves.
Are you someone who gives their time to others, always supporting and not thinking much about your own self care? Your Earth Element could be out of balance. Do this daily to help yourself get rooted and re-balanced.

METAL: Is where we find inspiration or we cannot “let go” or grieve.
Are you holding on to a lot of “stuff?” Are you constipated? Do you have a lot of respiratory issues? This may be your Metal Element out of balance. Do this daily to help yourself let go of emotions or tension and re-balance.

WOOD: Is someone who gets the job done and focussed. But out of balance, you could be holding onto anger.
Are you a list-maker? When you cannot get things done, your frustration with yourself kicks in and your Wood Element may be out of balance. Do this daily to help yourself release the emotion so you can get back to your lists.

WATER: This is where you ”go with the flow” or you can get stuck, unable to move forward in making decisions.
When you are creative or like to do whatever everyone else decides, you are most likely a “Water Element” personality. But if you are stuck, or frozen and unable to make decisions, you could be out of balance. Do this daily to re-balance.
