Freshly cut grass is a plant's SOS cry!

“Plants are quite aware of their surroundings, their predators and their neighbors.”[excerpt from a Utube documentary] depicting detailed time lapse photography with research on whether plants behave like animals. This is an extensive study by Dr. James C. Cahill, Plant Ecologist from the University of Alberta claiming plants are dynamic and actively engaging with their environment.

In 2017 my husband decided to cut down a medium oak tree on our property for firewood. It was 15Ft from our home. Three days after he told me about his decision, he went outside and the entire tree had ‘died.’ All its’ leaves were brown yet it was springtime. My husband got spooked. I realized the tree “heard” him and chose to start 'dying’ before he started cutting. We thanked the tree for giving it’s life so we could be warm the next winter.

Interestingly, the plants seek their nutrients through the deep foundations of dirt. This is much like we use our E-body to center and ground ourselves to the earth.
